About Troy...

Age: 37

Birthday:
July 9 (Cancer)

Career:  Where to begin? I graduated from SDSU with a B.A. in English and Creative Writing. I guess the one thing that remains constant is my need for creating and performing music.  My old musical group Earfood played together for 7 years, made 3 albums, and toured around the USA for a few of those years. The band's success led to the forming of my own record label, Omnigroove Records, and that was where most of my energy went during those years.  After college I worked in sports radio at XTRA Sports 690 for the Jim Rome show and did live updates on the weekends. When I was 25 I moved to Los Angeles and worked at KCAL Channel 9 for a while, but my need to pursue music kept calling me and my heart wasn't really into sports TV or Radio.  I worked for several years at the think tank RAND in Santa Monica while doing my music, and then for a few years in administration for the non-profit WISE Senior Services also in Santa Monica.  Currently, I have just completed a new album, "LD in LA" with my new band Luper Dupree and I work in sales at the #1 moving company in downtown Los Angeles, Flat Rate Moving.

Favorite Things:  My sweetest girl in the whole world Allyson!!!  The Dodgers, Lakers, the beach, Maui, writing, nature, fishing, crab legs, my parents and family!!

Favorite Memory with Allyson:  The very first time I saw her smile at me. And the look on her face when I asked her to marry me as well as the day when the ring was hers for good...And every time I hear her sing a warmth comes over me and reminds me how lucky I am.
